Huawei Passed ISO/IEC 27701 Privacy Information Management System Standard Certification
On August 3rd, Huawei Technology Co., Ltd. passed the ISO/IEC 27701 privacy information management system standard certification. This certification has been approved and issued by BSI China. At this point, Huawei has obtained ISO/IEC 27701 certificates for over 20 subsidiaries, covering businesses such as terminals, cloud, and ICT.
During the same period, Huawei Cloud won the Trusted Digital Cloud Highest Level Titanium Award from BSI and became one of the first batch of highest level winners. This award is a series of digital trust assurance awards (hereinafter referred to as “DTAA”) initiated and implemented by BSI China this year, aiming to recognize the achievements of enterprises in building “digital trust”. At present, Huawei Cloud has passed over 130 security and compliance certifications and third-party audits, making it one of the most authoritative cloud service providers with the most comprehensive security and compliance qualifications in the world.
As a leading global provider of ICT infrastructure and intelligent terminals, Huawei regards the construction and comprehensive implementation of an end-to-end global network security and privacy protection guarantee system as one of its important development strategies, and continues to invest resources to enhance privacy compliance capabilities. Huawei has conducted systematic insights and reviews of external privacy protection laws, regulations, and industry best practices, and has established a global privacy compliance 17/27 framework based on its own privacy compliance needs, providing guidance for privacy compliance work in various business units. The passing of the ISO/IEC 27701 standard certification indicates that Huawei’s product development, procurement, production, operation and maintenance processes fully meet the requirements of international industry standards.
