Kinetic Becomes Largest 8Gig Internet Provider in US
Recently, Kinetic by Windstream announced that it will soon become the largest 8G home internet provider in the United States. In the coming weeks, Kinetic will offer more home 8G speeds than any other carrier.
In July of this year, over 400000 households in the 330 Exchanges covered by the Kinetic network will be able to use this futuristic bandwidth. The company stated that it will continue to expand its Multi Gig products to more markets in the future.
Multi Gig speed, with 100% fiber connectivity, provides 99% reliability and performance for homes in Kinetic network coverage. The upload speed of the Kinetic 8Gig Speed Fiber service is up to 8000Mbps, which is more than 220 times faster than the internet upload speed of cable TV operators.
Clay Fisher, Chief Marketing Officer of Kinetic, said, “No company has reached so many homes as quickly as we have. We know that there are more connected devices in homes than ever before, and this number will continue to grow. Families will continue to need more bandwidth to keep these devices running properly.”
Expanding Multi Gig services is part of Kinetic’s multi-year $2 billion capital investment, which will deploy fiber optics in its 18 states. In addition, the company is establishing unique partnerships with cities, counties, and other groups to quickly and deeply connect fiber optics to the network.
Kinetic by Windstream is a business unit of Windstream Holdings, a privately held communication and software company. Kinetic provides high-quality broadband, entertainment, and security services to consumers and businesses in rural areas of 18 states in the United States through enhanced fiber optic networks.
