HGC Chooses Ciena to Establish High-quality Data Center Interconnection in Philippines

HGC Global Communications Limited (HGC) is a mature ICT service provider and network operator with global coverage. It is partnering with Ciena to deploy cutting-edge technology for HGC’s Data Center Interconnect (DCI) services. The purpose is to drive the digital transformation of the Philippines. This measure aims to enhance the country’s digital infrastructure. Also, it can meet the growing demand for high-speed and reliable network solutions from operators, global cloud providers, and enterprise customers.

Cooperation

With Ciena’s optical and routing technology, HGC can provide customers with high-performance data center connectivity and reduce latency. This collaboration enhances HGC’s service offerings, providing seamless data transmission to its customers and ensuring business continuity.

Implemented by Ciena’s partner CommVerge Solutions, Ciena’s 6500 packet optical platform is driven by WaveLogic Ai coherent optical technology. And it will support HGC for better flexibility, improving the scalability and adaptability of its network. HGC also utilizes Ciena’s 3928 routing and switching platform to improve operational efficiency and service consistency across applications.
