Marvel Expands Strategic Partnership with AWS to Achieve Accelerated AI Infrastructure
Marvel Technology, Inc. is a leader in semiconductor solutions for data infrastructure. And it announced today that it has expanded its strategic partnership with Amazon Web Services (AWS) through a five-year, multi generational technology agreement. This agreement covers the collaboration of multiple AWS products and the use of AWS cloud infrastructure, emphasizing the joint commitment of both parties to accelerate innovation and excellence in the field of infrastructure.
This agreement covers Marvel’s wide range of data center semiconductor products, including custom AI products, optical digital signal processors (DSPs), active cable (AEC) DSPs, PCIe re timers, data center interconnect (DCI) optical modules, and Ethernet switch chip solutions. Marvel’s leading position in critical silicon technologies enhances AWS’ ability to continue advancing its data center computing, networking, and storage products, enabling AWS and its customers to achieve higher efficiency, lower overall cost of ownership, and faster time to market.
Marvel has adopted a “cloud first” approach through its collaboration with AWS on cloud based EDA. This partnership enables Marvel to leverage AWS’s advanced scalable computing capabilities to accelerate chip design. The sudden nature of workloads in advanced node chip design has been best addressed through AWS’s almost unlimited scale and resilience. With the capabilities of AWS, Marvel will parallelize additional design tasks, providing its engineering team with more infrastructure resources and flexibility to meet dynamic computing demands and accelerate product launch speed.
