Sivers Collaborates with Ayar Labs to Advance Manufacturing

Sivers Semiconductors AB (STO: SIVE) in Sweden is a leading global optoelectronic and wireless technology company. It is in deep discussions with its strategic client Ayar Labs to plan the next phase of cooperation. They focus on large-scale manufacturing to support the deployment of Ayar Labs’ in package optical interconnect solutions.

In order to successfully achieve the widespread deployment of high bandwidth and energy-efficient AI data centers, the industry generally believes that it is necessary to shift from copper wire to optical I/O interconnection. This demand has been widely recognized by ecosystem pioneers such as Nvidia, AMD, Intel, and multiple ultra large scale data center operators. The focus of this transformation is shifting from developing initial solutions to establishing a robust manufacturing ecosystem in the coming years to support large-scale deployment.
