HCLTech and Anthropic Accelerate the Large Scale Implementation of Enterprise-level Agentic AI
HCLTech announced on October 12, 2026, a global primary partnership with Anthropic to accelerate the adoption of enterprise grade Agentic AI with a focus on security, cybersecurity, and governance. HCLTech’s service team will build industry solutions and products driven by Claude, Cowork, and Claude Code, while HCLSoft, as an Anthropic ISV partner, will embed these capabilities into some of its enterprise products.
HCLTech will establish a dedicated Anthropic business unit and set up a Center of Excellence to build Agentic AI solutions and provide a secure sandbox environment for enterprise deployment of Claude through FDE. It will also help customers adopt AI native engineering practices, train their workforce, and build the organizational capabilities required for secure large-scale operation of Agentic AI.
As an ISV, HCLSoft will embed Claude capabilities and gain access to advanced models for integration into selective enterprise products in areas such as network security, automation, and business process applications and application development, including HCL BigFix and HCL AppScan, while empowering Actian AI analysts.
In addition, HCLTech will integrate Claude and Claude Code into its proxy software engineering platform AI Force, covering IT support, code repair, and digital employee services. These workflows are supported by manual supervision of policy barriers, exception handling, and high impact changes.
