Largest 5G Fully Connected Factory in Southwest China Officially into Operation, with 300000 Units Per Day

On June 17th, it was announced that the 5G fully connected factory jointly built by WeChat Youlian and China Mobile was officially put into operation. The factory is the largest single 5G fully connected factory in Sichuan and even the southwestern region, and has been included in key engineering and technological transformation projects in Sichuan Province.

Micronet Youlian settled in Xindu District, Chengdu on December 16, 2020. The first phase of the factory will be put into operation within 6 months, and will be scaled up within 1 month. The second phase of the WeChat Youlian project collaborates with China Mobile to invest 50 million yuan to jointly build the “benchmark of the largest single 5G fully connected factory in Sichuan and even the Southwest region”.

The overall project adopts a “single abortion line”, where a network communication terminal product can be completed in just 15 minutes from loading to shipping. The efficiency and production capacity have increased by 10 times compared to the first phase of the factory, and the daily production capacity will reach 300000 units, with an annual production capacity of 100 million units and an output value exceeding 10 billion, accounting for 1/4 of the global network communication terminal production capacity.
It is understood that the relevant principals of Xindu District and four supporting supply chain enterprises of WeChat Union have signed an agreement with WeChat Union on the settlement of supporting supply in the Wi Fi Intelligent Terminal Industrial Park. As of now, a total of 16 supply chain enterprises are planning to settle in the Wi Fi Intelligent Terminal Industrial Park.
