CommScope and NCTC Announce Strengthened Cooperation to Support Independent Service Providers
CommScope, a leading global enterprise in the field of network connectivity, announced today that it has partnered with the National Content&Technology Cooperative (NCTC) in the United States to provide NCTC members with more convenient access to CommScope’s end-to-end network solutions.
NCTC provides support to independent broadband and pay TV communication service providers serving small and medium-sized communities in 50 states and territories in the United States. NCTC members serve approximately one-third of all households in the United States. CommScope has had a decades long partnership with NCTC; This strengthened cooperation reflects a closer alliance between the two parties, and also demonstrates that CommScope has further strengthened its commitment to bringing broadband services to rural and underserved areas.

Through this collaboration, NCTC members will be able to access more choices for purchasing solutions from CommScope through a dedicated distribution partner. CommScope will also assist NCTC members in understanding and applying for funding for the Broadband Equity Access and Deployment (BEAD) program to provide financial support for fiber to the home (FTTH) network deployment in rural areas. In addition, CommScope will provide relevant resources to help service providers design efficient and scalable fiber optic networks.
