Fujitsu Collaborates with 1Finity and Arrcus to Build a New Generation of Network Infrastructure for the AI Era
The need
Fujitsu Corporation, 1Finity Inc., a leading global provider of network solutions under Fujitsu, and Arrcus Inc., a leader in large-scale network software, core and edge routing, and multi cloud switching infrastructure, announced the signing of a strategic cooperation agreement to jointly strengthen the new generation of infrastructure for the AI era and provide innovative network solutions to the Japanese and global markets.
With the accelerated deployment of AI in various fields of society and increasingly sophisticated services, AI related data traffic is growing exponentially. This trend has given rise to an urgent need for network infrastructure, which must seamlessly connect data centers, cloud platforms, 5G/6G networks, and edge environments.
Details in cooperation
Arrcus builds an advanced routing and switching platform based on Ethernet technology, providing industry-leading network software to meet the diverse needs of network operators and enterprise customers. The network operating system (OS) developed by it can run uniformly in data center clusters, edge to multi cloud environments, achieving faster deployment and centralized management; Without the need for dedicated hardware, it can run on universal “white box” devices, making it convenient for customers to flexibly choose white box devices equipped with the best chips. Customers who have deployed the software have seen an overall cost of ownership (TCO) reduction of over 40% in various scenarios.
According to this agreement, 1Finity will serve as an Arrcus business partner, providing comprehensive Arrcus solutions and jointly developing global market expansion plans, with Japan as the core, targeting network operators, enterprise customers, and data center operators. At the same time, it will collaborate with global business partners (not limited to Fujitsu Group) to create a comprehensive solution from network design to operation and maintenance through hosting services, delivering the best value to customers.
Fujitsu will rely on its global customer base to provide flexible and scalable solutions that can quickly respond to market changes, integrating the Arrcus business model with Fujitsu’s advantages in AI services and computing technology, and striving to become a new generation infrastructure service provider in the global market.
