Ericsson and Nex Tech Wireless have announced a five-year transformative network modernization plan. This groundbreaking initiative emphasizes Nex Tech Wireless’s commitment to providing unparalleled connectivity solutions for communities in Kansas.

This project will witness Nex Tech Wireless and Ericsson’s deployment of Ericsson’s dual-mode 5G core solution and advanced wireless access network (RAN) technology in Kansas, implementing the most advanced core evolution/cloud native solutions. In addition, by adopting Ericsson’s Network Functionality Virtualization Infrastructure (NFVI) and Cloud Native Infrastructure Solution (CNIS), Nex Tech Wireless is ready to leverage the latest features of Virtual Network Functionality (VNFs) and Cloud Native Functionality (CNFs), both now and in the coming years. Through this cooperation, both parties will improve network efficiency and flexibility, ensuring seamless integration of 5G and continuously evolving RAN technology in the future.
