Nokia and EIR Expand IP Partnership to Support Growing Customer of New Services in Ireland
Ireland’s leading telecommunications companies Eir and Nokia have announced an expansion of their IP partnership to support their customers’ ever-changing needs and expectations, and to obtain world-class technology and connectivity solutions.
According to the agreement, both parties will launch the latest 400/800GE IP backbone network to meet future traffic growth, and launch the Nokia 7750 business router, supported by Nokia’s internal routing chip FP5, with higher flexibility, energy efficiency, and security. This move will support EIR’s commitment to providing the most reliable and unparalleled connections and services to every corner of Ireland.
