Nokia and VNPT Collaborate to Deploy and Develop 5G in Vietnam

Nokia has announced a new partnership with Vietnam Posts and Telecommunications Group(VNPT), one of Vietnam’s leading telecommunications operators, to deploy 5G technology. This significant development marks a new milestone in the long-term cooperation between the two companies, strengthening their commitment to providing strong digital infrastructure in Vietnam. Nokia is also producing 5G products locally in Vietnam, highlighting its commitment to the region.

As part of the agreement, Nokia will deploy devices from its state-of-the-art 5G AirScale product portfolio and adopt its energy-efficient ReefShark system on chip technology. They provide high-quality connectivity, low latency, enhanced network capacity, and reduced power consumption. Nokia will also deploy an AI based 5G MantaRay network management solution, which will greatly improve the network operation efficiency of VNPT.
