Nokia’s Management Services Business Shifts from Cloud and Network Services to Mobile Networks

The quarterly financial information provided by Nokia reflects the shift of management services business from cloud and network services to mobile networks.

Nokia has released financial comparison data for its mobile network and cloud/network services division from the first quarter to the fourth quarter of 2024, reflecting the shift of its management services business.

The management service business will shift from cloud and network services to mobile networks by 2025

Starting from January 1, 2025, Nokia will merge its management services business into its mobile network business group. The management service business provides outsourcing network management for multi vendor RAN networks for operators, and has been part of Nokia Cloud and Network Services Business Group since 2021. As the cloud computing and network services business units gradually shift towards selling cloud native software, providing “as a service” products, and helping customers achieve network monetization through APIs, Nokia believes that the management services and mobile network business units are more compatible.

To provide a basis for comparison, the following table presents unaudited income statement information for all quarters and the full year of 2024 for cloud and network services and mobile networks, reflecting the transfer of management services business.
