OFS Sells Manufacturing Towers and Facilities for Fiber Optic Production in Denmark

OFS and Heraeus Comvance announced today that Heraeus Compvance has acquired OFS Hotel Denmark ApS located in some factories near Copenhagen. Heraeus will produce standard fiber optic communication fibers based on the European value chain and provide these fibers to the EMEA (Europe, Middle East, and Africa) market. OFS will continue to provide a full range of world-class brushed fiber optic cables from the United States to its customers and fiber optic cable factories outside of EMEA. Will OFS continue to operate in Denmark? NDby produces and sells specialty optical fibers for the global market, and OFS’s parent company Furukawa Electric will continue to provide a full range of telecommunications optical fibers from Japan’s most advanced brushed towers to the global market.
