Private Wireless RAN Revenue Growth of 16% by 2025
According to the latest forecast report released by Dell’Oro Group, an authoritative source of market information in the telecommunications, secure networking, and data center industries, the revenue growth rate of private wireless radio access networks (RAN) will significantly slow down in the second half of 2025. Preliminary estimates show that private wireless RAN revenue will increase by 16% in 2025, a decrease of nearly 2.5 times compared to the growth rate in 2024.
Stefan Pongratz, Vice President of Dell’Oro Group, stated that “private wireless remains a key growth driver in the broader RAN market, and there is still significant room for enterprise opportunities to be developed. After several years of rapid expansion from a small base, the market is now entering a more moderate growth phase.”

Other key points of the April 2026 Private Wireless Report:
-By 2025, private wireless RAN revenue will account for 3% to 5% of the total RAN revenue.
-China is in a leading position in 5G enterprise applications, accounting for 40% to 50% of global private wireless RAN revenue by 2025.
-The top three private wireless RAN suppliers in 2025 include Huawei, Nokia, and Ericsson.
-By 2025, Nokia and Ericsson will be in a leading position in the private wireless RAN market outside of China, with a combined market share of approximately 80% in the region.
-The outlook for Campus Network has been lowered, while the growth prospects for Wide Area Network have been strengthened.
-The core view of Dell’Oro Group has not changed for a long time – private wireless is a huge opportunity, but it takes time for enterprises to accept private cellular technology. It is expected that by 2030, private wireless RAN revenue will grow at a compound annual growth rate of 10% to 20% and account for 5% to 10% of the total RAN revenue.
