VicTrack Deploys ADVA FSP 3000 to Upgrade Australia’s Broadband Network

It’s announced that VicTrack is using its state-wide optical transmission infrastructure based on ADVA FSP 3000 technology to provide carrier-grade wholesale services for Australian broadband.

The flexible and fully redundant ROADM network enables VicTrack to easily share capacity.

With ADVA’s open optical transmission system, it provides VicTrack customers with non-regenerative optical services among the farthest areas of the state, enabling Australian broadband to obtain highly reliable connections throughout the Victoria region and metropolitan area.

VicTrack’s infrastructure is designed for high capacity and easy expansion, providing communication service providers (CSPs) with unique opportunities to reach new customers.

As part of the fiber sharing agreement with Aussie Broadband, VicTrack provides access to its next-generation optical network. Utilizing the capabilities of the VicTrack network enables Aussie Broadband to introduce new products to more customers, including increasing its commercial fiber optic services in Victoria.

The agreement will also help it save resources for use in other states. VicTrack’s TGSN is a 45-node mesh ROADM network built on ADVA’s FSP 3000 platform.

Managed by the Ensemble Controller service management solution, it provides a flexible combination of 10Gbit/s and 100Gbit/s services and any connection to achieve seamless, simple and secure communication.
