ZTE Launches Industry’s First Wi-Fi 7 FTTR New Product with 2.5GE Interface
At the 31st China International Information and Communication Exhibition, ZTE announced the release of the industry’s first Wi-Fi 7 FTTR gateway new product, including the main gateway ZXHN G7705 and the secondary gateway ZXHN G1715.
It is reported that ZTE FTTR products have been commercially available in more than 30 provinces in China, receiving over 2 million sets of orders.
ZTE’s main gateway adopts XG-PON/10G EPON uplink, and the user side of the master slave gateway provides both Wi-Fi 7 and 2.5GE interface functions. Compared to current FTTR products, it has significant improvements in bandwidth rate and Wi-Fi coverage.
It is worth mentioning that this product introduces 4096-QAM technology from Wi-Fi 7, which improves throughput performance by 20%; At the same time, MLO multi link operation, MRU technology, and ZTE’s self-developed scenario based AI algorithm have been introduced, allowing terminal devices to connect to multiple Wi Fi hotspots simultaneously, bringing faster speed and lower latency.
ZTE’s Turbo Core network also made its debut at this communication exhibition in China. On the basis of Full virtualization, it can improve network performance, security and other aspects by adding a variety of professional function accelerator cards.
Overlay smart network cards to create the industry’s strongest forwarding UPF, with a 2x increase in performance and a 40% reduction in power consumption per bit.
By stacking NEO smart cloud cards, it is easy to achieve server card insertion into the cloud. The cloud platform saves 20% of CPU resources and is physically isolated from the server, making the system more secure.
Overlay the industry’s first TSN card to achieve ns level high-precision clock synchronization and deterministic forwarding, and provide deterministic network capabilities for grid differential protection, industrial control and other scenarios.
Overlay GPU visual acceleration cards to enhance media processing capabilities such as audio and video, AR/VR, and provide more efficient solutions for consumers to enjoy multimedia, new terminals, and interactive communication experiences.
